Building materials
Frame
The metal frame construction consists of thin wall sections of fabricated steel, hot dipped and galvanised which provides durability against earthquakes and corrosion.
O.S.B. Sheets
Oriented strand board is mainly used to clad wall and floors. It is category 3 in accordance with European standards EN13 986, EN 1058, EN 795 and EN 300, which is certified by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and has great durability in wet conditions.
Plasterboard – Suspended Ceilings
The outer and inner walls are lined with double layers of 12.5mm plasterboard. Suspended ceilings are constructed using a galvanised metal frame and a single layer of 12.5mm plasterboard. Damp proof plasterboard is used in areas such as bathrooms; these walls are also filled with 40KG/m3 50mm mineral wool as further insulation.
